Sea Fury low flyby at my home airport (52F). Not my video, but I've heard about him doing flyby's at 52F. I saw him do a flyby at another airport and saw it up-close at a few local shows. Also on long final when he took off at DTO, his home airport.

Rob, The video of my Sea Fury was shot by Dan Linn, who owns a nice Cessna 170B at the south end of 52F. I live in a hangar at 52F, with the Widgeon, but the runway is too short for the Fury, so it stays at Denton. Stop by sometime and check out the planes. John Shackelford

Unless there is another Widgeon, you are close to Blue Hangar. You are out there quite often. I love watching you approach and land. I'm still renting from Marcair trying to decide what to buy, but 100 hours now with Tailwheel and working on Instrument, so not one of the Marcairs landing that I'm sure entertains you daily. :) Heck, I want to buy some diving or gymnastics scoring numbers and sit out there and rate landings. Quite fun. :D

    Guy's,

There is a Widgeon, up here at Alma's Airport, in Michigan. Light Blue and White, that won an award at the EAA Convention, in Oshkosh, a few years ago. He's got another amphibian, that is undergoing restoration. Shack, you may know the guy, but I'll try to get a name next time I see his b'law.

    Happy Landings...Paul

A friend of mine used to have T28 trainer. We'd do flybys over Gladstone's when his wife was eating there. One time we did it upside down! :D He would openly state that anyone who rides in his plane would be forced to puke! :D:D:D

This year's Goodwood Revival Spit pass was, umm, a little tamer.

Nothing like the sounds of those old birds on a fly-by. I have a neighbor who was in WWII. He owns a B-24, B-25, B-17 along with a P-51, and P-47. Every so often they will have someone buzz the house a couple of times. Each time I run outside to get a look. Nothing like it.
