Looks like a wet/damp road, long straight. Tires? Happened today Sunday 31 March 2024, around 1 pm Italian time, 4 hrs ago. Ivrea is between Aosta and Pavia. They must have come from Switzerland thru the long Aosta tunnel towards Vercelli, Pavia and/or Milano. I have driven this motorway many many times. Usually not much traffic, many long straights. Two Swiss in a white GTC4 Lusso. Marcel Massini
Ouch. That Ferrari is AWD, I guess it didnt matter here. At least it was Ferraris most disgusting iteration yet , outside of that POS suv that they produced. They should have bought a used station wagon, then they would still be alive , with a bigger bank account. If I was head of Ferrari, I would recall every one of those and give the owners their money back. Then I would put all of them in the crusher so the scrape metal can be put to better use. Big G
Im sad for the folks of course, I just cant stand that Ferrari would build such an abomination, so Im glad it was not a 488 per say. And yes they should have bought a used station wagon rather than the POS they were driving, they would have saved a lot of money and still be alive..Its a Ferrari station wagon, its that simple. G

I mean, yeah, there are probably a couple families having a really horrible Easter right now. I don't think it's really the right place to debate the merits of the GTC4 Lusso... not really the point.
Ferrari is trying to be all things to all people. You will see this happening more and more. Im glad they did not kill a motorcyclist , so theres that. Next time someone will get killed in that POS suv they came out with, mark my words, it will happen. I would love to speak with Luca D and ask him what he really thinks about the state of Ferrari today, and also what his thoughts are about how things used to be. I think it would be very interesting. A no holes barred conversation . When money becomes ones motive, things always start to fall apart. God only knows what happened, that this Ferrari station wagon got split in two . Good grief Charlie Brown. G
Im just posting my thoughts, respect has nothing to do with it. People die in car wrecks everyday , if it was anybody else and any other car, posts here would be very different. Get it straight. When Ferrari becomes all things to all people, people are going to get killed. Its that simple. Thank you G
Why cant we ? If it was anybody else and any other car, you people could care less , and the posts here would be very different. G
my only hope and wish is that they died before the fire. This thread brings sadness on multiple levels and reasons. my final post in this thread.
Maybe inattention? High speed and the car drifting to the side? Tires still blow out today, but it is rarer than it once was. Very sad.
I can't prove this, but I bet that someone has died in every single model Ferrari has ever made (maybe other than the Purosangue).
Looks like the Armco metal barrier wasn't really effective enough. Is this an Autostrada (unlimited speed) roadway?
