I got sent that video last week, and it is priceless. I cannot believe after Tilton was exposed 8-10 years ago for spending all the ministy's money on lavish houses and cars that he is back once again. Some people are just suckers for TV evangelists.

Random story: Used to work for a video production shop in northern VA about 10 years ago. An older, dignified looking woman wandered in one day saying she needed duplications of this tape her son had made. So we pop it in and rattle off 30-40 copies for her, then check it to verify the copies came out ok. Proceed to die laughing as we watch Tilton farting away... Couldn't believe this woman, easily in her 50s, wearing a nice suit came in with this. Great videos regardless -R

There was a news expose on him in Dallas several years ago. He would go on the air with his pleas and promises asking for and receiving millions through the mail. I actually saw him once when he promised to send you a prayer cloth that had been made from fabric from the Holy Land and prayed over by him. You were to grasp it in your two hands and pray hard and through osmosis his spirit would join with you in your prayers. When they did the news program, the reporter went to the dumpster behind his church and found thousands of envelopes that had been opened and the donation taken out and the prayer request left in the envelope and thrown away. This went on for several weeks as the news station observed it. When questioned about it, they were told that the envelopes had all been prayed over before they were opened........I wonder how he knew what to pray for?????? I heard him talk to people who wrote in complaining of financial problems and he instructed them to send a donation to him, he would pray over it and God would bless them for blessing him and multiply their donation. He told them that it was a covenant they were making with God and not with him on the amount they were to send..........That way I guess it was to take any responsibility or liability off himself.......................... I wish they would not allow him back on the air. You should hear how he left his wife in Dallas and what he did to her after moving to Florida. Disgusting.... BTW, do not be deceived.....This man is no Christian. Rant closed!!!!!!!!!!
I remeber old Bob well...particularly huge billboard portraits along I-30, and the whole account of his collapse in the Dallas paper, TV news, etc . The videos are funny; I've seen them as well...they were shown to me by another minister.
I was in Palm Beach in June, and to my amazement, I saw Jimmy Swaggart on TV. People are indeed suckers. Oh and BTW, that video was truly funny
