    But that's more than a perfect Daytona and conversions have never traded for more. Esp one like this one which seems to be far from what a real Gr4 should be.

    I think there may be a need for our recalibrating regarding pricing on well executed recreations and conversions.

    what became on that fantastic BB LM of your father's? That was a VERY nice car and I suspect would bring a fair penny today!!

    We thought so too but it sold for only $350k...I told him to keep it for that price but he decided against. The person who bought it got a bargain which in this market is even rarer than a GTO :).

    I agree recreations and conversions when they are well done can and should bring good money. This Dayton just doesnt seem to be that well done to command what would be $940k to $1.3m.

    Andrew,

    Had a great day recently. First time at the track with the Daytona and it drove very well. Found a few things to work on, but overall a great driving car. Zac and I have some things to think about. Overall, one balanced, tough beast.

    My fav Daytona. Please post more..any video of the sound she makes?and what Miura is that? LP400? S? SV?

    Great to see she's back on the road.

    Remember a yellow Grp 4 conversion car that was for sale a while back, I think for 600K and which looked a lot better than this one? Wonder how much that would go for...

    Ahh, but this is the WRC/Baja version Gr. 4…….yumpin' yiminy' - we're talking ground clearance!!

    I think they might have tire clearance issues on the fenders if they are running the old school 26" diameter tires. I had to jack mine up to get them off the flares. I am running smaller diameter ones now, so I could lower it back down.
