Noticed yesterday that both the F8 Tributo and F8 Spider are no longer listed as current models on Ferrari’s website. I know they only made one 2023 Tributo, and all Spiders must be done or in process. Mine is currently somewhere on the Atlantic Ocean.

In the US it is Roma Spider or nothing. Everything else is closed. For example, my dealer took 50 deposits for the 296 GTS in the first 24 hours after it was announced.

Lots. 4 year run and they produced worldwide total cars of 10k in ‘19, 9k in ‘20,11k in ‘21 and 13k in ‘22. I’d guess the F8 was the majority of those during the years. US accounts for approx 25%. So if they produced 43k in 4 years and 25% were for US that’s 10,750. What do we guess the F8 accounted for out of those? If 50% were F8 that’s 5k of them?

That number seems high despite the logic behind it. There are 49 Tributos and 51 Spiders for sale right now in the US on the Ferrari pre-owned website. If you add in the vehicles for sale on Cars.com/BAT/Autotrader there are another 181 approximately (many of which are a double count from the Ferrari site). If 5K cars were in the US and the average time of ownership is 18 months then far more cars should be on the market. Knowing the actual number produced for the US market throughout its production run would be cool though.

your numbers are the 'sold' numbers... not production.... 2019 doesn't count as cars sold in 2019 were not 2020 F8's (maybe a couple at end of year only but don't think so).... I'd guess, based in production numbers and sold numbers and estimations being F8's and estimations of US market sales, the total number of F8 Tributos and Spiders is 1800-2100 for all years.... 2020 was a VERY low amount of F8's into the US, 2021 was the most, 2022 declined a little and 2023 is 1 Tributo and some Spiders only.... it's essentially a 2.5 year production run... I'm going with 1876 total F8's in the US. :)

your numbers would require Ferrari to produce 30 cars per day, EVERY single day--- they don't even produce half of that...

Ferrari produced and shipped these numbers. Right here in their financial statements. They were produced in Q4 of 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022 and still being produced into Q3 of 2023. The first ones delivered were in October 2019 (as a 2020 model. Just go back and look in this forum for when people took delivery). I’m sorry but that is 4 year not 2.5. (Also 2022 was they most cars they’ve ever produced and we know they weren’t many sf90 which left the F8 and the Roma, 812. F8 was the majority of them)

And how many 488 are listed? Best guess is there were 10-15k 488 produced (across all variations). There aren’t that many more 488 for sale than f8. So the for sale numbers aren’t an accurate measure of production as the demand, during Covid and post Covid has been off the charts.

This may help shed some light as Europe actually releases their numbers. In 2021 the F8 was more than 1/3 of the production numbers for the year. So in 2021 out of the total 5072 units sold in Europe, 1792 were F8. If you assume the rest of the world has the same ratio that would mean out of the 11155 for that year there were 3904 F8 for that year alone. In the US there would have been about 1k in 2022 alone. Now add 2020, 2021 and part of 2023. A whole lot more than 1876.

11155 total cars produced....MINUS the 5072 known EU units, leaves 6083 total cars remaining for rest of planet-- now take your estimated percentage of F8's and then do the estimated percentage of US bound F8's....

Exactly!! 6083 total cars for the rest of the world. 35% are F8 which is 2129 F8. US accounts for 46% of the rest of the world (excluding Europe. Including Europe and US is 25% of total). So 46% is 979 (I rounded it up to 1k). That was just in 2021. (We know there were a lot more in 2022).

Assuming we forget about Q4 2019, all of 2020 and 2023 that could be very accurate. Lol. :p I wish my F8 spider was that rare but unfortunately it is not. Maybe my triple layer yellow is!!

    Production started in late 2019
    Covid in 2020 (50% to 75% capacity?)
    2021
    2022
    2023 (ended production in April)

My guess is all of above combined to to equivalent of normal 3 full years of production?

One side note, Spiders still being produced and delivered. A number of users just had their orders start production.

I would tend to agree. I was trying to find how many F8’s were delivered in 2019 and I don’t think there were many, and I don’t think any in the US. We all know only 1 F8 Tributo was delivered to the US for 2023, so that’s really just 3 years of production for the F8 - including the reduced capacity during Covid. So I think the F8 will be closer to the 458 numbers than the 488 numbers. Of course, that’s also my wishful thinking given I’m hoping my F8 holds its value.

Ordered mine in September 21, and it just arrived at the dealership last Thursday. Getting PPF’d and then it is coming home to join his big brother, the F12.
