    Hi quick question I’m no pro but I just got an OBD scanner to scan for error codes on my F8. I’m running a novitec exhaust with techtronic is the texhtronic currently plugged into the OBD port? If it is if I take it out to do
    my scan do I just plug it back in after or do I need to anything special with the techtronic? Thanks for the help

    Yes, you need to pull the techtronic out in order to plug in scanner tool. It’s directly under the steering column.

    Which OBD scanners did you purchase? I would like to buy one for my F8 and maseratis.

    I ended up getting a foxwell which was supposed to be compatible with the F8. It wasn’t so I returned it. I was recommended to get a Launch X431 29e I called the company and they said that too wasn’t compatible with the F8. I asked my shop who has a 10k machine and he said he would need to back door the scanner and put the vehicle as a Fiat in order to do the scan however recently I was told that doesn’t work anymore. I would still love to know which scanner would work as I’m still in the market for one.

    I have a Launch X431 29e, for which I also purchased the optional Ferrari interface software. I’ll give it within the next week.

    The Launch X431 26e with the optional Ferrari softward, covers the models listed below. I plan to connect with L:aunch to determine when more current models, including of course the F8, will be covered. Stay tuned.

    I’ve tried to log-in to my Launch account no less than 20 times but have been unable to do so. I’ll give it another try but there are some serious issues with their website. And a whole lot is lost in the translation. Very frustrating.
