Anyone know anything about the F50 for sale at FNB?

Also, does anyone know if there has been any recent sales of F50s? I'm assuming anyone that owns an F50 is in a financial bracket that excludes them from any kind of macro-economic downturns. Why are there so many F50s on the market at unrealistic prices right now? I would think that if someone were in a situation where they needed to sell the car then they would need to get realistic on price and move the thing and if they didn't need to sell it then why don't they leave it in their garage at home. Whats the point of having them sit in showrooms at prices which aren't selling the cars and also hurting the F50 market IMO by having so many of them on the market that are not selling at prices being asked?

    Fantastic post - spot on.

BTW, you'll be surprised how many people FINANCE these type of cars, and that has something to do with why there are lots of Supercars of all types on the market at unrealistic numbers right now... gotta pay off the bank!

I went and saw that car last Sunday. Its rosso Corsa with a black interior. Asking price was 985,000 I believe.

They also had a Grigio 365 Daytona and a Scuderia there too. The Daytona was going for 425k I think.

A few weeks ago there was a maroon Lusso in there too, but it was'nt there this time.

Several people in the "Cheap Enzo" thread mention an F50 that sold at a London auction recently for $440k. I'm assuming they were adjusting to USD. If so, this $985k asking price is nuts.

    NOT Going I suspect...

Somewhat apples and oranges... US Cars command a premium, and on average have far fewer miles... but to your point, the difference is greater than can easily be explained by US vs Euro and mileage alone.

Will be VERY interesting to get real sales data for F40's F50's and Enzo's...

for that money you could get a euro car and leave it there, fly over and enjoy it on holidays. $535,000 buys a lot of holidays :D

can't wait for 2020 that may be my first chance at a reasonably priced car. I hope jimG is right ;)
