Was the F50 available in two models, either a coupe or convertible, for ordering when new. Or was their just one model available, with a removable hard top?

AFAIK, all models came with the hardtop and a case for when you remove the top.

    Could be wrong though...

This is how I've always understood it... all included Hardtop, roadster panel and non-foldaway soft top.

This also brings me to an interesting question...

Since the F50 was a Hardtop-To-Roadster configuration... and so is the Enzo-based Maser MC12... was the Enzo at one time intended to be a Hardtop-To-Roadster as well?

If I remember correctly it's a 2 man job and takes a couple of hours labour at the Ferrari garage, to change over.

Indeed. Its a trickiesh job getting things lined up though because if its a fraction out, it can cause a few problems.
