Morning guys....new (excited) owner of an '07 F430 Spider. Picked her up last week and love it so far of course! I have had several other sports cars of the BMW M5 and e63aMG variant, and always paid careful attention to correct tire pressure as I know how it affects handling. I am not planning to track the car, so was curious what others have found to be an ideal street pressure for optimum handling. The placard inside drives door says 33F / 36R, and I have it set there for now (cold), assuming that of course Ferrari knows their details. However, as people have played around, if you found a better combo perhaps. I am on the stock 19's, with new Pirelli's. Thanks much

In my F355, setup the way I have m suspension setup (it is adjustable you know), on Bridgestone S04s I run 35F 35R on the streets, and 32F 33R on race tracks. This makes the tire pressures as one comes off the track to be 40F 40R and 200ºF on all 4 corners with a nice 15ºF gradient from outside to inside.

Now, the way one gets there is to use a tire probe tipped pyrometer to measure the tire tread temperatures, and adjust the camber and ride heights until the tire temperatures are as stated above.

But a different driving style (more aggressive or less aggressive) wold alter the optimal pressures.
Setting the car up for drag racing would be different than above.
Setting the car up for drifting would be way different from above.

Pressure depends on the tire. My 08 says to run 32.3 on pirellis on all 4 corners. Interested to see what others say.

You can start at 32 psi and then test what is best for your car.

If you have TPMS, go with what the label on the door jam says. Keeps the TPMS happy. That label is different for the different tires that were available new on the car. Pirelli, Bridgestone, & Michelin. You can have a shop with the right diagnostic equipment change the setting between those three choices to match what is best for the tire you are running now. Since it is street driving, I would stay with the label recommendation and enjoy the car.

Roger that door jamb says 33 / 36R, so I have set it there for now (No TPMS) so far, car feels quite nimble, so will may be try 32/32 this weekend and compare

Look at your owners manual for the recommended tire pressures. If the car originally came with Pirelli's, the recommended pressures are 32F/32R,
Bridgestones 33F/36R, Michelins 32F/35R or Goodyear runflats 36F/36R.
Since your sticker has 33F/36R as the recommended pressures, it was originally fitted with Bridgestones.

I would set the pressures at the recommended settings for Pirelli's 32F/32R
