    I posted this on another forum as some have found it useful, so, In my pursuit of the right wheels and colour. Thought I'd post my F430 with all the different wheels / colours its had on it. This might help someone else wanting a change or not as the case maybe!! The standard wheel is a hard act to follow as its a great looking wheel that really suits the F430.
    Anyway I've been through some variations good and bad!
    Standard Silver 1 / Bronze 2 / Gold 3 / Gunmetal 4 Grigio Corsa Metallic 5 (these look better than the picture suggests) Genuine 20" 458 wheels 6 (have to have custom adapters made) OZ Supperleggera HT 7 (Just Yuk) Novitec Split Rims 8 (ages the car I think) and the wheels I love the HRE's 9!

    Bit to Blingy those for me, very Escalade!

    One thing I do find, black wheels never photo well, in the metal and in real life they look far, far better!

    Anything but black. Ball polished is a nice choice. A painted wheel with a polished rim is a nice bit of zip. Wheels with the bolts all around the rim are, to me, so '90's.

    Good job we are all different, can't think of anything worse than mirror polished wheels on a sports car. Each to their own!

    if you are staying with the stock 430 wheel, the only two color options are the silver or the ball polished. I do not like the stock wheel painted in any other color.
    Now aftermarket is a different story. Go with what makes you happy or compliments your car. Mine is silver, so i opted for a bit more contrast and when grey. very happy.

    Looks great IMO!
    Contrast is important IMO. easy on say, a red car, but on a silver/gray not so much.
    I've had two titanio Ferraris, on my last one I went really bright like you did, and on my current car I went darker.
    I dislike black wheels though, so that wasn't an option

    Im also a big fan of JDM wheels, but unfortunately not many offer 5x108 in many sizes/offsets, if any. For example, I considered a set of BBS LM and they offer nothing even remotely close to fitting in our lug pattern.

    Another ball-polished stocker. For me it’s better than silver. They are shiny but not chromed-shiny so no Cadillac-ish at all.

    Grey wheels look amazing on the 430.

    I like black wheels on a lot of cars, but it’s not ideal on these IMO.

    If I ever look at black wheels in photos I am always put off, it never picks up the detail of the wheels unless in real life. Photos just make them look like black blobs.

    In person they look much better, but I have thought about a colour change to a lighter colour!
