F430 Manual Gearbox Cover Removal - Questions

    I might have a leak (very small) coming from the gearbox cover. I still have not determined if that is the source or not. To see what I am talking about, please refer to the attached pictures, also keep in mind my car is not an F1. The leak seems to be coming roughly where the red arrow is located.

    I do have some questions:

    - first what is the correct term for that part? That 11 bolt star looking cover? It is not labeled on the parts diagram.
    - What is the gasket part #? I assume it is not shim #25, since that looks like it is round and not a gasket.
    - What am I in for if I have to replace (I assume) this gasket myself? How hard will this be? I extracted a buried exhaust header bolt after removing my exhaust headers last summer..... let’s call that a difficulty level of 5/10 including the exhaust header removal. Any special tools needed?
