I have a 2005 Ferrari F430. One of the hydraulic lines was leaking, and the car came to a stop. I towed the vehicle back and I replaced all the hydraulic lines, and I bled the system afterwards. The car starts up drives fine from first gear to second gear,
third gear is fine, but when I try and go to fourth gear, it just drops straight to neutral and the car tells me to “slow down”

I did hook up the scanner and command the car to go into first gear, which it did, second gear which it did, when I commanded it to third gear it went to reverse, when I commanded it the fourth gear it went to neutral, fifth gear went in place along with six gear as well. Anybody have any insight?

First I would double check you connected all the hoses correctly

Second ..did you bleed the actuator and make sure the three screws are tight

Third I would do a relearn assuming you took the actuator off to replace hoses

Fourth do a ediff bleed as well

Fifth PM me and we discuss in phone and report results here after fixing it

Also check the electrical connectors to make sure they are plugged into the right places.

I’m checking the lines now, I took photos but unfortunately can only find the ones from the top, not the bottom- need to figure out somehow if I crossed a line

So I checked the f1 lines and they all seem to be accurate, I did the actuator bleed and selection/engaging, clutch actuator bleed, and actuator calibration.

Upon doing this, the car drove and shifted fine when I first got it, as soon as it started warming it goes to neutral when trying to go to 4th gear. I can upshift to 5 and 6 or down to 3 and 2, but when it goes to 4 and drops to neutral again and then the f1 light comes on and it says to slow down.

    PROBLEM RESOLVED**

First and foremost, id like to thank Flash32 for his patience and assistance throughout this entire process. He is extremely knowledgable and was able to give me step by step instructions which ranged from diagnosing to visuals to work on the car; was always available on the phone for assistance.

ISSUE: One of the hydraulic lines leaked and caused the car to stop. I replaced all 5 lines, and the car was having issues with the shifts from 3 to 4, and kept saying "slow down" after a few minutes of driving.

Resolution: After changing the lines, I bled the car but I did not bleed the necessary components. After the installation of the hydraulic lines, the E gear and clutch were bled, the actuator needed to be bled as well. Once the programming was done the shift points all worked as they should, the issue was resolved.
