Looks like I am going the Michelin PSS route for my F430 Spider with Scuderia rims. What size front tire do you recommend - 235/35ZR19 or 245/35ZR19?
Ask yourself if you really want to add more grip to the front of the car, which will tend to increase any tendency to oversteer at the limit. If not, go with the OEM size.
Stock is 225/35. I have 235/35 19 on after market wheels. The tire might rub against the fender with 245 depending on the rim width and offset.
James, I'm selling a pair of MPSS 235/35ZR19 if you're interested, still plenty of tread left: ++ Pair of Michelin Pilot Super Sport 235/35ZR19 tires ++
Stock, a 430 tends toward understeer, I believe. A little more grip up front is, I think, a Good Thing.
I'm running scud wheels on my 430 with 245's on the front. No rubbing issues and while I haven't driven it with 225's or 235's, she feels pretty neutral and certainly not tail happy. This includes a DE event at one of the tracks closer to me. Jason
JWeiss is very right. Both the 360 and 430 can benefit greatly from some added bite in the front. With the 8" wide Scuderia rims and stock offset, you won't have any issues with 235/35R19 MPSS.
