    Hey All,

Anyone recommend a high sound quality Bluetooth Adapter to fit the factory 30pin cable in the Glovebox?

I’m been researching CoolStream but they do not list the F430 as compatible ( not currently tested) and wondering if anyone else can recommend.

Would really appreciate any rested suggestions ...... thanks in advance!!!

This comes up now and then.
You can get a 30 pin to lightening connector if your phone or device uses one, or

You can get an Aluratek Bluetooth device or similar. I’ve been using this one for about 4 years and works very well. Just have to remember to disconnect when you leave the car...

    https://www.ebay.com/itm/Aluratek-30-pin-Bluetooth-Audio-Receiver-Black-AIS03F/121983863819?hash=item1c66ce0c0b:g:8BgAAOSwmfhcGgpq

If you are handy, Becker sells a hard wired Bluetooth adapter that plugs into the back of the radio and replaces the 30 pin wire

I have the Becker blue tooth module that plugs in the back of the OEM stereo. It’s a clean install and connects to my phone perfectly, but I get a faint alternator whine when using it. Based on that, I really couldn’t recommend it (and it’s expensive).

    Hi!
Finally the device arrived today, however no sound playing. How did you set your media to AUX as I can’t seem to find this. Any info would be greatly appreciated [emoji1303]

You have 6112 cascade I believe.
    Turn on the radio
    Press the button upper left
Use the right knob and scroll to “system settings”
Press right knob to enter menu
Scroll down using right knob to “external device”
    Press right knob
Scroll to “Aux” press the right knob
the little white dot will be next to Aux

    Should work now

I am looking for the same solution but don’t really understand why people are buying the options mentioned that don’t support newer iPhones. I simply want to stream music from Spotify to the Becker 6112 from my iPhone X. It looks like the iphones supported are several models older. Are you all keeping an older iPod/iPhone in the car at all times do just play the music? Maybe I am missing something.

Hello all....I decided I prefer to keep the factory look original Becker and go with the 30 pin adaptor that seems to work for many. I then realized that I do not have a cord in my glove box or anywhere else. I don't think it will work, right? Any idea how to get a cord to make this setup work?

I simply want to make my iphone 10 play music in the car. I don't care about bluetooth for phone. My 430 has the HiFi option and subwoofer. I believe I have the Becker 6112.

    Adaptor I ordered today:
    https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B019QR64VQ/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o07_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1&tag=vglnk-c31-20

I would just replace the head unit but I don't really like the way any of the aftermarket options look.

To stream via Bluetooth with OEM radio, you need this adapter:

    https://www.discountcarstereo.com/a2d-bkr.html

If you have a 6 disk player in the trunk, this adapter plugs into its place on the back of the radio rendering the disc player un-useable. They do have another adapter that will allow the use of the disk player with the bluetooth module, but I haven’t tried it. It’s this one:

    https://www.discountcarstereo.com/a2d-bkrcd.html

There are also adapters that give you the lightening plug for a wired connection if you prefer. Won’t charge though, just music.

I ordered the lightning adaptor version and will report back with my thoughts. It should charge the phone per the vendor.

I had trouble finding the above mentioned Bluetooth adaptors. I just installed the Coolstream Duo Bluetooth adaptor readily available on Amazon and followed @Bob in Texas steps on accessing the AUX input on the Becker 6112. Worked perfect!

Coolstream Duo is compatible with Becker 6112.

Seems like all these options no longer exist including the Coolstream. Any one have a more recent suggestion?

Thanks. Are these modules that connect to the back of the radio worth the effort/cost over the $30 adapters that plug into the iPod cable in the glove box?

If the audio quality is the same, then no. Unless you’re hanging onto an old school iPod you still want to use.
