    Hi guys,
Can anyone answer some questions for me about the optional adjustable ride-height suspension on the F40? As I understand it, it raises or lowers the ride height dependent on speed. My questions:
    1. What shocks are used?
    2. Does the system change ride stiffness as well as height?
    3. Is there any "active suspension" component to the way the suspension works? Anotherwords, does the system make any changes relative to suspension movement or body angle?
    4. Did any F40 prototypes experiment with active suspension based on this system?
    5. What type of ECU controlled the system?
    Thanks,
    Harold Pace

to the best of my knowledge this was discussed as a possible option during car development, but was never put into production.

I am not aware of any production cars that have this feature. I don't believe it was ever offered.

perhaps a test mule had it. not sure... anyone have more info?

There are two F40 suspensions, adjustable and non-adjustable on the F40's driving the streeets of the world. There are pros and cons to both.

When you see ads for these cars, you will likely see a reference to the suspension.
