i have only one question - WHY?

with full respect to your passion and your skills i cant get the point in building such a car.
it will never be an F40 and it wont even be a 355.
the project will cost you lots of time and money and the result is a car that will only have a very special value for you. if thats the point, it will be worth all the effort.

No sorry guys, not moved an inch. Other things in life to attend to first, but met and had a fantastic meal with a fellow enthusiast in LA recently when I was in the States on my road trip and we talked about the project all evening so things will be progressing this year, more than one may be born :)

GTV is back on track. Next week the floor pan will be removed, the following new floors will be constructed to be welded in. The rest will go along as planned. I hope to finish it before "we" start with the new one :)

    Great project, good luck!

I don't think I saw his answered, but are you building a track only car, or are you planning to use it on the road as well?

One of the details I like most about the later versions of the LM, are the front wheel arches. The lower front of the arches bend back. Not sure if this would work on a street car but it looks so cool somehow.

    Best, Peter

Hi, yes it will be road legal, registered as a rebodied F355 with as many of the original creature comforts of the 355 as possible such as abs/power steering etc that were missing on an F40.

Had a good clean up of the garage where its stored a week or so ago, not much to see as its still the same as it was when stored outside, but this is how it currently looks.

Very frustrating at the moment, every time I think closure is about the happen in other things going on in my life, then the legal process throws another spanner in the works!

Let me know if anything is required.
