The amber suspension light is on in my car (-97 with M5:2 system). Checked the 4 red electrical motors and they work all fine and the rotating axel with the cogged spline in each shock also rotates easily by hand force - so the adjusting mechanism isn't stocked or something. Every time I turn ignition into pos II, these 4 motors calibrates the shocks as they should, but one small spline cog-wheel (RL) has a crack I saw. Can one get just the spline-wheel as spare part or do you need to exchange the entire shock? Did not find this small spline wheel in the WS as a separate part.

Remember klaus if you turn the ignition on and off multiple times without moving this will also trigger the light. Once you fix it take it for a drive if light is still on and should go out.
