OMG! What a beautiful 355!
These mileage discussions are unbelievable to me... same thing on Viper forums, get over 40K miles and you'd think it was a salvage rebuilt title. Drive and enjoy them... my 456GT has 41K miles, my 2006 Viper has 42K miles... my 1969 Mach I has an astounding 90K miles..... drive, drive, drive. Smile!
We did not do a leakdown test, just compression. There were no issues persuading us to think a leakdown test was necessary.
I sold mine with 48500 and it was running like a champ! I put 20k on it in 3 years. Only did one major and some headers was about it. Good luck with sale

Lol high miles on 1997 54k in 24 years what’s that about 6 miles a day. So about 50 miles a week. Being a mechanic that’s just about perfect. With the service records showing the owner was taken care of it. I would buy this before I would some garage queen. Just my two cents
Great looking F355 and a great price for such a nice car! I would make two suggestions....(1) stick to your price as it is very fair and these cars are only going up in value and (2) have the leather on the airbag fixed. It is a very easy job. The airbag unscrews so you can take that part to your local upholstery shop and have them regular the leather and make your car look really sweet on the inside and get the most bang for your buck.
