^ Just tell her that's how you're going to get there Edit- The c2s that just sold went for 135k. Would think a turbo would do more but will be interesting to watch.
The BaT car to me is in need of like $25k of reconditioning. Seats gotta go...decals gotta go...wheels refinished or replaced. Major service probably next year or two max.
She said it needs to have a garage so we can buy a car, leave it there and fly down and back for winter. Humm.
I’m thinking the stock market tanking today might have something to do with it, but all good for me I guess . Anyone have 2.7 cats ??
I have the cats off of my car but they were producing some dust. I doubt you would actually pass a sniff test with them.
Ironically, I started my search for 355 in Red/Black. Couldn’t find one, so bought Black/Black instead. I guess it took more than a decade to land a 95 Red/Black . BTW. I’m not trying to keep 2 355’s. If the red car is as clean as I hope it is... all my sh-t will be going on it. Challenge seats, challenge bumpers, challenge wing etc... so for me, the black/red seat is not an issue. Anyone looking for black/red seats? My only concerns with this car is stickies, front and rear windshields, removing the sound system, and maybe headers (which I have coming in anyways).
I think for a 355 newcomer, this 355 is probably a challenge to put back together, but for a parts hoarder like myself, not a big deal at all.
My new steering wheel should be arriving just in time . Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
For front I would go OEM. I had a clean brand new front glass but sold it to another Fchat member because I thought I was going light-weight. I changed my mind. Going OEM for the blue tint on top. For rear glass, I might go lexan. I need to do more research. Are new OE replacements the same junk that will eventually delaminate? Or are they built to higher standards and the issue won’t come around again?
Steering wheel is coming from Hong Kong. The guy held it for 8 years because he sold his 355 and thought he would buy another. He bought from another guy in Australia who probably held it for just as long lol. He actually wouldn’t sell me the steering wheel unless I proved my 355 was worthy of putting it on LOL. Glad I passed the test There is another guy in Germany selling a complete set with adapter just like mine, but it’s got some nicks and scratches. He wants $3900 USD before shipping. Can pass on info to whoever is interested. If it was a clean as mine I would’ve bought it as extra.
