Has anyone been as absentminded as I? Just inquiring on possible cost here or size of the job. Thank you.

Is it possible to look up the key code via vin? The dealer should be able to do that.

And when you get it make sure you go get a basic spare cut at a good auto locksmith for about ten bucks !

If you can get the glove box lock out, you can bring it to a locksmith who can make a key based upon the pins in the glove box lock. The key blank is the same as those used in Fiat's.

keysforclassics.com made me several sets of keys for my 78 308 GTS utilizing my key codes in my manual, and they have all worked perfectly. He is located in Austrailia.

Thanks for all the help. $165 later, the keys were found beneath the gear shifter. They had been set on gate and fel down out of sight. 24 hrs later Glenns lock and key noticed them as they were writing up my bill. Moral of this story is dont let anyone ever ever drive your F car. It can only end badly. No one knows your car like you do. Life can for me can now resume thankfully.

We'd all feel a lot happier if you'll accept the need for a spare and get one cut !
