How much extra are later model year F12’s worth?

Are the later years much better cars? Are there any changes or important fixes? How much more should a 2017 command over a 2014/5?

Is a 2014 in perfect shape a better deal at $40k less than a comparable 2017 (excluding the finacial savings of the extra included service)?

For example- A 2014 car with a CPO has more warranty than a non CPO 2017.

I am trying to determine which model year is the best deal.

    Thoughts?

Most years are nearly identical. You are paying for more maintenance (7 years from in service date) the newer the model year. Only a few tweaks in later years, nothing hugely differentiations wise. I am not sure I would care if 14, 15, 16 or 17. I looked when I was buying mine, was more focused on options and specs. I ended up with a 14, as the maintenance didn't bother me as I still had (at the time) 2.5 years. The dealer did a service when I got it and one this spring and I have one more.. for next year.

^^ This. Buy on condition and spec. Model year on the F12 is a fairly minor indicator of reliability.

Spec, Condition, History, Mileage. In that order.

Exactly this. This is the way to buy a car that will give you the best ownership.

Unfortunately many people buy in a completely ridiculous order of Mileage, History, Spec, Condition.

The only thing I know of is that from -15 the engine got EURO 6 cleaning, and the radio/nav was update.
However I would still recommend the same as all above: Condition/spec/history/milage/modelyear - kind of.
