Looking to buy an aftermarket exhaust for my F12. Anyone looking at selling theirs? IPE is preferred. Sent from my SM-S918W using FerrariChat.com mobile app
Did you tried allready to drive with open exhauste valve....this sound is realy awesomw...I think all other aftermarket exhaust sounds only loud....sorry no ferrari style
Novitec rear silencers, X pipe and remotes are all you need. 100-cell downpipes if you need more volume Usually better to buy something made in Germany/US than Taiwanese stuff like iPE
Maybe but the price value is too bad for a different sound.....way too much money. But you talk about the standard set up this will cost you al least 10k and should cost max. 3-4k.
This comment simply suggests to me that either you haven't driven an F12/812 with a full exhaust system on it, or that you don't value sound a great deal as part of the driving experience. If you want your V12 Ferrari to sound like a V12 Ferrari at it's absolute best, then 10k isn't much. These cars cost hundreds of thousands of dollars, cost cutting shouldn't even be part of the discussion. Life is too short, you can't take any of this with you
Sorry dude, it seems to me that you have no idea about engineering and, how the prices should be claculated. I think you are a normal customer with show and shine and you do have the money as myself. But I know that I do not throw $1.000s of Dollar for fake and simple construction...but anyway...belief what you see and hear....
$2000 parts cost or $3000 with high flow cat. $2500 labor cost by someone who has never fabbed anything in an F12 by a shop who likely never taken down F12 downpipe. I can Tig anything with backpurge, but my calculation behind buying a full exhaust system was that my time and mental energy in getting one done are worth more than the purchase price. If the welds weren't good, I would be the first one to say don't buy these exhaust systems, and I would be making one myself. but these pipes aren't your typical mandrel bent/cut/welded exhaust on a jig. They are all cnc bent one piece tubes. Fitment is perfect. I have no regrets with mine. If you haven't driven an F12 with cats off, you're missing out in life. It isn't just the volume. It is the clarity of the v12 scream at a volume that can be heard miles away that you can experience at an arm's length. If you're looking for the best bang for the buck for the best experience, I would just buy the open downpipes and an x-pipe (or go weld one up and let us see your skills). You can leave the back mufflers stock. I wouldn't disable the valves.
That's exactly it, you don't pay for the time taken to manufacture the exhaust - you pay for the years of experience that lead to the person being able to make it.
Listen man, no one is forcing you to buy an exhaust. Leave your car standard, no worries. But seriously suggesting that downpipes with catalysts, an X pipe, silencers with valves, a remote kit and an OBD cancellation device should be $3000 makes you look like you have absolutely zero idea what you're talking about
This is why I bought a second set of OEM downpipes and gutted the cat materials out of them. Perfect OEM fit ....catless combined with Kine X pipe and a MASE Tune... controlled with Forza valve controller. I'm very happy with my setup! Image Unavailable, Please Login
Have an IPE exhaust and x pipe to install next year but toying with the idea of getting rid of the cats (did it on the 355 and love it)… afraid of CEL etc. what’s the current consensus on route to take if decay? Tune vs obd wizard ? Cost comparison? Difficulty?

These cars absolutely benefit from a proper exhaust. Here is one of our favorites from some time ago, granted this is an 812, but the sounds are identical!
