called my dealer and was told its not available yet , anyone know if the 458 or the Cali badge will work. I have seen pics of the F12 with the carbon shield so I guess it exists

When did you see the pictures? If you still have the pics please post on this thread. I believe the 599 badge will be the closet to the F12.

We modified a set that was meant for the 599...it turned out pretty well but took cutting a couple of the mounting posts and shimming it to make it work. The owner of the car is very pleased with the end result :)

Hmmmmm, don't get this, it looks too much "Dubai"..........

I like the original, as Enzo intended.

I understand. I think to each their own.

The whole "as Enzo intended" is a really slippery slope. For example, should the street cars really have shields at all? I think if the factory blesses it, then its official and that's good enough for me.

My personal preference is not matte paint nor the CF shield, but my preferences aren't everyone's. Just because its not my preference, it doesn't mean I can't appreciate it. In this case the CF shield really works well with the matte paint- and that color does look good on the F12.

    Lovely picture of the car!
So these are for the 599, if i understand. I would like to ask, how much modification was needed? Only the shields were modified to fit perfectly, the bolts are the same, etc?
Thank you in advance for the answer!

no modification at all, perfect fit the only problem was the doors had to be taken out to get to the shield, crazy

Hmmm, a little bit of a racist tone which I am sure you didn't mean ;)

Ferrari parts department sells carbon rim crests, car mats, valve caps, under car defuseors, front wings, cup holders, etc...all for big $$$. This is exactly as Enzo intended...make as much money off customers to fund his racing team.

I am not adverse to giving buyers as many options as they can to customize their Ferrari to make them unique...red on tan is beautiful but not as much so when everyone gets that colour.

I walked into my dealer the other day and all 8 of the Ferraris in the showroom were corsa red. A few people joked with the Receptionist "do Ferrari's come in any other car?"

Me too, looks kinda cheap. You're messing with the historical connection/look that is part of what makes a Ferrari a Ferrari. Some things you don't mess with, Coca Cola, Shell, Apple, Rolling Stones, etc, etc.

I say to each their own and variety is the spice of life. And it is this fellow (or lady?) car.
