Ummm, I think what he is saying is that George seems as good as Hamilton and it is the car, not the driver. As for Bottas, he is a mid packer that the car flatters.

 

I find it funny that people needed "proof" that it is the car behind Merc dominance. It is the car, always has been, always will be; Schumacher and Senna would have 0 WDC if they didn't have the best car or close to it (as talented as they were).

Making the lock up bigger? Leclerc locked up and he was not in full control of his vehicle. Perez was in control of his vehicle. He sure did come into the apex.

I love seeing Stroll in 3rd...but I can visualize his pit stop, tyre compound change, and decline to finish race in 12th.

Bottas is truly “Mr. Saturday”. Good in qualifying, doesn’t bring much on race day.

 

Honestly, it's pointless at this point. That was a racing incident and none of the drivers' should get any penalties. Verstappen, Perez and Leclerc are all agressive wheel-to-wheel drivers, there was a 80% chance this kind of thing would happen at the start and it did.
