F1 ringtones

I just held the phone outside my window, hit the throttle, and pressed record. Worked fine.

There are some CD's that have various cool cars on race tracks... Can't remember what the CD's are called, but I think it was Exhaust notes...or something like that. I think there are programs that you can take a CD track from put it in your computer and then build a ring tone out of it... So if you found one of those CD's you could build your own pretty easily I would think...

Keep us all posted...I would like to do that too...that might be fun!

I used Zedge for my LG Shine, put it on a 2GB card, and transferred it, if you have internet on your phone, try 3gforfree.com , I do not know if they have it, but it doesn't hurt to try.

 

That is a COOL ringtone! I have saved it to my Mac to later transfer to a phone! COOL! Thanks for finding that guys!

If anyones interested, I use the original Speedvision F1 intro as my ringtone. It's not the wail of the cars, but it is a pretty slick guitar riff

 

Can't get nothing good with Nextel....

 

I have two F1 ringers on my phone. The first is an on-board that goes through several shifts and the second is of 6 cars passing by.

you will have to register your phone, but I have used it for several ringtones (including a great F1 that I have been using for the past few months).

I was reluctant to register for a free site, but have had no problems as a result.

 

So, are you going to tell us where you got 'em?....... Or are you just teasing us?

+1 on the ringtones at that site - BTW, searching "F1" returned more tones than "formula1". However, after registering I get:

"Phonezoo tested Apple iPhone on Cingular and found that your carrier and phone combination do not support ringtones from 3rd party sites like Phonezoo in most cases. We apologize for the inconvenience and wish there was more we could do to help."

Which kinda scuks!...... Especially when they say they tested it with Cingular.....

 

One of them I got from the Speed TV website and the other one I downloaded from a site I can't recall and then uploaded it to my crackberry.

 

Jason, I have a 355 sound clip on my phone starting up and the taking off. If you have a mini-sd car slot on your phone and you're interested we can transfer at the next meet.

 

Ok, so I downloaded the F1 sounds, but now to sync it to my phone. I have no clue how, I've tried to sync via bluetooth before, but haven't had any luck. BTW, I have an enV phone from verizon, and a dell XPS. So, if anyone feels like posting how to sync the two, it would be greatly appreciated.

 

I downloaded the mp3 mentioned above and have converted it to a wav file if anybody needs. shoot me a pm.
