Brand (at 58) can't b anything other than Ron Dennis ........... Need to find a mid-late 20-something to play Lewis......
Brad could play Guenther Steiner. And Tom Cruise could play Michael Andretti. And Ye could play Lewis. Anthony Hopkins could play Bernie. And John Goodman could play Flavio Briatore. Mick Schumacher would play himself (a reserve actor). And Jeff Bridges would play Rolf Schumacher, telling young Mick (in flash backs) how it was in the good old days. The title would be "Wait Until Next Year." Toto and Binotto would be cast using transgender actors, just to give the story a modern touch.
If Bruckheimer is in that, curb your enthusiasm. If Hamilton is in that, the night is dark and full of terrors. Although I guess that having a racing movie is not a bad thing overall. Even if it's trash, it brings awareness of our sport to the masses.
HAM just set up this movie/TV production company last year from what I can find on line: "Already on the slate are two anticipated projects with Apple TV+: an untitled Formula One racing film from Top Gun: Maverick director Joe Kosinski, starring Brad Pitt; and a feature documentary on Hamilton’s own journey, during which he has famously broken barriers on and off the track. The former will follow a driver who comes out of retirement to compete alongside a rookie against the titans of his sport. Both titles will be executive-produced by Hamilton under the new production banner."
My friend is working on this movie and sent me some pictures. They are setting up at Silverstone today with a fake garage for the fictional APX GP Team. Looks like the drivers are a white guy called Sonny Hayes and a black guy called Joshua Pearce.
Britney spears could play Nico Rosberg, Litle mermaid could do Lewis and Chuck Leclerc could do Charles Leclerc....
Ok, now acording to new Hollywood standards they still need an asian, an indian, a gay, a trans, a non binary, a lesbian.....and probably someone else....
