I thought the FIA had announced that the collective launch was Feb 18; so why these different dates now ?
I guess the FIA and Liberty are doing for the show to get ratings for the "televised" launch. Crazy right.
Teams are expected to present their new liveries on 2024 cars, as opposed to revealing their actual new challengers for the 2025 season. People paid for this lol. Oh but all 20 drivers are expected to be there. In front of old cars. Its useless money grab hype. This year they will charge at the circuit to use the bathroom that has a poster of your favorite driver as well LOL

So 'Vareity Show' F1 launch! F1 the entertainment company. F1 announces talent that will star alongside team livery launches at London show On the eve of its livery launch event at London’s O2 Arena, Formula 1 has announced that British comedian and actor Jack Whitehall will host the show. The F175 celebration will see all 10 teams unveil their livery for the 2025 season, with each squad given seven minutes on stage to do so. Autosport revealed last month what fans can expect from the evening, while on Monday morning F1 confirmed Whitehall as host, as well as announcing Take That, Kane Brown, mgk and Brian Tyler’s ‘Are We Dreaming’ will also perform on the night.
Ratings going down or something? I haven't followed F1 in years and I don't trust the accuracy of Google searches on viewership as I seem to find some that say better and others worse like for Super Bowl. I don't get why they don't do what NFL does, which is still top in the US. Most games are "free" to watch on major networks via antenna...no need for cable/subscription. Get fans that way (free stream via YouTube for example)...make money off sponsors and merchandise. Make some money off ticket sales, but not as much, but enough to fill stands to make it look better on tv. Didn't Liberty/F1 supposedly give their US broadcasting rights to ESPN for free for a number of years to do a similar thing? Should have pushed for ABC and ESPN simulcast rather than just ESPN that I think it was initially at least. Anyway...cars still look the same.
Ratings are up everywhere except in Europe but Lib does not get the hint and continues to cheapen F1; they would rather have lots of teens and tiktok girls watching than crusty traditionalist fans...
The crusty traditionalist fans were once teens. This is a success for Liberty, you have to skew young to stay strong.
