I wonder if 1974gt4 can see a family resemblance between his car and mine in this photo. I do. Even more so, if we both pop up our headlights! Image Unavailable, Please Login
I think the front is a bit more "Daytona-ish" but more squared off. You should add a Cavallino on the front grill.
OK, you and I can take it apart. Who do we get to put it back together? Brilliant minds think alike. I have one on order, from an eBayer in *Israel*. En route, I hope.
No idea. I also have a 11 pound fretless wonder that i run through an old plexi, we should compare notes. Geno
Besides I chased one of these cars all thew way to Texas to buy one for myself...easily one of the most beautiful cars out of Maranello, hands down. Nice on the bridge btw, Nifty trick...
everyone out there has things that need to be taken apart, they just dont realize it. as for you young man, isnt it time to adjust those webers?
...while it is true, most people DO have things that require adjustment and also true some of those same PEOPLE require adjustment, I was fortunate enough, recently in fact, to have the healing hands you now use to massage the Jalpa adjust my carburatori, and my car runs as new. I thank you for your concern that all autos in your immediate scuderia are running as designed. With respect. Grazie Mille.
Jack stands and flip flops: this is definitely my kind of workshop. That Lamborghini V8 on the hook, that's just a Halloween decoration, right? Truly terrifying.
Just don't lose that wallet again. It's looking mighty accessible there... So glad it all worked out. Congratulations, J! Unlike Sledge, I *can't* wait to see it.
Man, that is a stunning car. Been meaning to say that for a while now. Hope to see it in person soon.
Thank you, on behalf of my 400i. We have been pushing the ball down the field since June and are are very close to the goal line. But I have learned never to put a completion target date on a project car. They always have another trick up their sleeves. As an example, today was to be spent on fixing a stuck heater control valve -- cabin temperatures in the 80s can be tiresome -- but yesterday the passenger window decided it was tired of going all the way up. So that job goes to the head of the line instead. But some day. . . . I am glad in any event that the project phase of this car did not outlive FOG.
...''project car''. I almost got one of the 4xx series cars but as you correctly point out, the looks are similar and of course their ""GT"" intent...to an existing car I now own. easily one of the epic designs thought, love to see and hear it v12 and all.
Would be fun to join you all sometime. My weekend schedule is variable, though, with on-call requirements for work, but given the right circumstances I'm game! Assuming, of course, 2 gt4s on 1 drive doesn't violate some unspoken commandment of Ferrari Drivership!
Dr Italiani congratultions on the new toy. You know I love the yellow cars. Is it yellow/tan or yellow/black? Gavin
