Well it sounds like there will be a good turn out tomorrow. Even if only half the poeple show up. What do you think Dave, do you think more than 3 people will show up? I'm looking forward to this. I think this should be video taped.
erik thanks yeah that's one of my members GT3. he also has a CGT but he's a busy guy and will be back in the car scene in the spring joey thanks for the compliments on the frames hopefully we'll get more on tomorrow
yea i was thinking about doing that, but i could not get a hold of a video camera. i broke mine sometime ago. Anyone else have a video camera?
Jim. I'm actually concerned that there may be an unmanageably large group. We may have to split them up, and come up with a rendezvous point. Otherwise we're gonna be pulling over every 5 minutes waiting for stragglers to catch up. I guess we'll just have to wait and see. Oh, guys, we will not wait all morning for you to show up. If you're gonna be late, pls. call Lamour, since he was nice enough to post his cell #. I'll be on channel 1 on the walkie talkie for anyone who's got one, feel free to chime in as you approach Algar. I have two, we'll put one in the car at the back of the line to try and keep us together.
dave, to be honest, and i dont wanna sound harsh, ignore the people that fall back. they will catch up eventually. that is why i thought printing out the route for each car would be good because in case someone falls back and there is a turn, they wouldnt go straight instead of turning.
Guys guys guys as Dave, AMK, Jim angle, gus, ect can all back up. Let's just see how many people actually show UP! We have been at this point before and got about half the expected turnout even though the weather was great. Either way it should be a great time. Don't stay out to late tonight guys Erik
We just went from King of Prussia through valley forge, to hooters on rt1 with about 20 BMWs... if there is a route map for each car, it will be fine.
Can't do that. Some of these folks, assuming they show, will have made quite a trip to join us, and since it's just a nice Sunday drive, we should do our best to keep together. Maybe a side trip through Valley forge park on the way out would make sense. And since no one suggested I print 40 copies, I hope you all downloaded the map and printed it out. I have one copy, for my co-pilot. I'll make one or two more if I get a chance tonight. Dave
