    Perhaps its just me - but today the ad's have been crazy... its almost impossible to read a thread.

    between the excessive banning, and ads - and push to subscribe perhaps they just dont want to have anyone using FCHAT?

    thankfully I'm nowhere near how long I spend on the site as before ... and this helps to make it even less.

    Yes, very very sorry about that. We have switched to a new network ad partner for Non-Subscribers. It will take a couple hours to get some of their bugs worked out. We're on it though. The benefit once we work out the bugs is our pages will load much faster for you.

    Subscribed users shouldn't see anything differently, let me know if you are. Thanks.

    I like to be helpful but at times it doesn't seem to be particularly rewarding.

    that's a different topic. everyone is an expert at something and as a community there is much give and take. if you don't enjoy it or getting value, then I would suggest don't use it. most active users are pleased. if you don't like seeing ads, it costs 4 cents a day to remove them.

    I’ve never seen an ad on Ferrari chat…. I mean, sometimes there’s a banner on top for Ricambi if I’m on my home computer but otherwise, I’ve NEVER seen any ads… and I’m not ‘subscribed’ I don’t think …. Hmmm

    My adblocker usually does the trick but today ads were spawning even inside the reply box... Weird.

    yes, that's one of the major bugs we're trying to fix.

    also they have been showing ads on the wrong pages (Forum list, Conversations, Alerts) and too many every 3 threads or posts, should be spaced out 5-7.

    we're working on it and yes, ad blockers usually work.

    @rob lay I am going to jump to mobile and upload a screenshot after I post this, but I have been getting a strange bug for the past 24 hours. You may be aware of this already, and is probably already been worked on. On mobile, the reply box is filled with all the edit tools, which doesn't allow you to respond unless you hit the "use bb code editor" or "remove formatting" buttons first. I am on Safari browser via iPhone and the latest iOS.

    As for the ads, it is what it is. I read your post. Whatever needs to be done to keep the site running, I am okay with. In any case, it is still significantly "cleaner" than some of the other supercar forums I have seen...


    EDIT: I’m on my phone now and everything is working as intended. Disregard!

    I use my phone app mostly so no ads.. I just checked in my office computer and ya, I see what you guys mean with the banners every few threads and at the bottom… no worries

    I just gave them feedback to space out ads more on the thread listing pages, that looks off. It isn't too bad on main page and posts.
