    getting prescription eye glasses. near and far sighted. will be getting the transition type lens.
    what type of lens brand or coating is the best for clarity, scratch resistance etc?

    I have Crizal on my current lenses. Close to a year and half, and I'm very happy with them. As for photochromic glasses, I'm biased towards Transitions. A former protege was on the development team! 😃

    i usually just ask for all the bells and whistles get the best i can afford. i believe ive had crizal and liked them. i usually go lenscrafters but currently have a pair from jcpenny that was more affordable and still nice
