    Just to make something clear. The Pirelli F and Michelin K marking, is not indicative of a higher quality or higher degree of quality control. This part is the same all across the board. The tyres are just brand and model specific.

    Just because it is Ferrari spec tyre, does it not mean it is the best tyre for all Ferraris. An example is this. While the Porto and Lusso shares same front tyre size, putting the Porto tyre on the Lusso or F8 would be a really bad choice due to its narrow tread. In the same way, it is also important to remember that no such thing as a "Ferrari compound" existis. Just putting it out there as a general observation when we discuss F and K spec tyres.
