has anyone bought a car from them? they have lots of stuff on ebay, and on there website www.expomotorcars.com they have a lot of BMW 3 series, which are very cheap, about 10-12 under $25K, what im worried about is though that pretty much every car says its from a dealer lease trade in or something like that...

    any info? thanks

Bought my Boxster from them. Nice people, low pressure, had all the issues from the PPI fixed before I even asked. David Yi is who I worked with.

I have been by their shop. Their selection is quite impressive. I spoke with David per Rex's recommendation. Their cars seem to almost all be lease trade-ins. If you can accept this then you can probably get yourself a seriously good deal. I am still waiting for them to get a 996 C2 that meets my specifications. I suspect you can get a car from them just above its trade-in value. The 2001 Porsche 911 996 C2 (green) that I test drove is still sitting on the lot. I suspect they are getting quite a bit more motivated to sell it. It does not quite meet my "ideal" choice but it is close. I wish it was a 2002. I have been watching their 540i inventory and 996 inventory to get a feel for how many they sell.

I know them very well - bought 3 cars from them in last 2 years. I also sold some HREs to their manager for his personal car. Nice people that are actually trustworthy.

We had an agreed upon price pending it passing PPI at an indy of my choice. I thought the brakes just needed new pads when I test drove it, but the mechanic said full brake job. (he quoted $1200) I was thinking this would put a snag in the deal, but David said "no problem, I'll take it to the shop we use first thing monday morning". I had the car by wednesday with brakes that stopped on a dime and it never effected the bottom line. He also took it to Momentum to get a warranty item checked and to have them look at it themselves for anything else that might be covered. It was approximately 8-12 months before I started seeing Boxsters on Ebay and elsewhere that were selling for what I paid.

i just bought a car for the first time from expo. although i dealt with them in the past, this was the first car i actually bought. being in houston, i went and saw the car i was looking at. the sales person wasn't the greatest, but the car was top notch and as described. for what it's worth. i am very happy with my purchase and wouldn't hesitate to look at a car they had again.
