    Folks,

Wanted to put up a post about Exotic Car Specialties and the experience I had. I initially reached out to Josh to help get my 308 ready for sale - the car was in need of a belt service plus a few minor odds and ends. He whipped up an estimate over the phone, sent me a PDF of what we discussed and began work within a couple days. He finished the car in the time frame we agreed upon and his estimate, to the penny, was the final bill – a miracle for older car repairs. He kept me updated every step of the way. The 308 ran like a top after Josh put her back together. I was very satisfied with the work done on the car.

Overall I had a great experience. Josh is dedicated to the customer and his work. I would highly recommend his shop. Looking forward to doing more business with Josh.

    Nick

Good guy. Haven't needed much service on my ferrari's, but he did a great job helping me out with the 360 when I was having trouble with Fabspeed, got everything swapped, managed the cross-shipping, etc. Quickly, too.

I echo others thoughts. Josh knew i was in the market for a 328, put me in touch with the seller, and dealt with my annoying questions along the way. He did the ppi on the car in a timely and cost effective fashion and i will be using him again for some additional work uncovered in that ppi. Always pleasant to talk to and has a positive attitude regardless of how inane the questions become!

I was looking for a Countach 1-2 years ago. Looking for leads I called Josh and other local indepent exotic car specialists (knowing they have a high end clientele). Josh called me back within days with some leads he had procured. He was very proffesional and responsive to my questions. Based on my experience dealing with him, I wouldnt hesitate to recommend him!!! Keep up the great work Josh

Thanks for the heads-up on IAP Racing, Piper.

That said, perhaps someone here can recommend a reliable/honest (yeah, I know) service tech here more near the Greeneville/Newport TN area? The Sterling area of VA is about six hours away, one-way.

A local Ferrari collector family ship their cars all the way to Orlando for service. That's out of my range in more than one way.

    Thanks, much.

    Troyce,

You may want to consider shipping your car to a shop closer to you. Have you thought of (researched):

    Foreign Cars Italia
5603 Roanne Way, Greensboro, NC 27409

    or

    Sport Auto, Inc.
    7405 Summerfield Road
    Summerfield NC 27358

Both of those are about 4 hours from you. Might be worth checking out.

    Bill P.
