I was in Colorado and met a couple guys from St. Augustine, FL and they brought a case of this Datil pepper sauce. Best dang stuff I've ever had! Just the right heat, but a little sweet with molasses. I started putting it on everything. It is closer to Tabasco than BBQ, but it does have a little sweetness.

Their buddy hand makes and doesn't sell, but I ordered a case of the Dat'l Do-it sauce, hopefully it is similar.

I took one of those gift sets home last year from the silly Santa game at the company's holiday party. Thumbs up indeed!

IIRC, Firehouse Subs has Dat'l Do-it on the counter as well.

Yeah, that stuff is good. I hit St Augustine usually around Christmas time and pick up some every year.

Those peppers sounds pretty interesting. I'll have to keep an eye out for them. :)

    All the best,

never heard of it but sounds good.

For hot sauce I'm mainly a Tabasco guy (regular or habenero) while my wife likes to branch out more than I.
Her current go-to is "Butt Kickin hot sauce". She dips fries in it :O
