I think that a Benelux Rally is a great idea. It is right in the middle of Europe. I am not sure if I have time to organize it this year (06). But there is definitely a possibility next year (07). Maybe some people can help me? I am thinking of Roel, Joren, Bart, Guy, Alex, Patriek and maybe even more people. It would be great if we could all organize one day in the program. That would create a fantastic meeting.

Like I already mentioned on the first page of this thread, I would be glad helping out to take care of a Luxemburg stage in this rally. This tiny beautiful country truly has a lot to offer and it would be no problem to plan a really nice route through this area that I know very well!
But, as also mentioned on the first page... a lack of time could be a problem to cover the complete organisation of this event! The idea to split it up could be great!
Another problem is I'm not a Ferrari owner yet... :(

I don't understand why being a non-owner is an issue???
The Annual Ferrarichat Rally is NOT an owners Rally! In my opinion it is a great opportunity for non-owners to get a ride. There are always spare seats!
I also don't have the time to organize the complete rally, but I'd be more than happy to coordinate this together with a group of people.

Luxembourg is a fantastic place to spend at least one or two days. We could even drive into France. The Ardennes (B) is also a beautiful spot. Limburg (NL) has some great roads. There are so many ideas. Let's first see who wants to help with the organization. After that we make a rough plan. From that moment we start to invite the participants. We need hotels, restaurants and guarded parking places. We could make a person (or more) responsible for the organization of one single day. That is not too much work is it? :)

I will start a very early thread! :)

For Ton, non owners are not a real problem!! :) ;)
But it would indeed be more fun if we all could participate with our own F-car!!! :)
Anyway, like i told you Ton, i'm in!!!! :D

I didn't look further into it yet 'cause of not enough intrest and it seemed too early for this idea but I will check some further possibilities the following days/weeks! I'm in for preparing the Luxemburg part! :D

That's what I had in mind!
It would be great to be a passenger in a Ferrari on this trip, but participating as a driver with your own car must be heaven! :D
Unfortanetely I will not have a Ferrari in 2006... ;)

What do you think about this?

A very nice hotel near the lake in Echternach, in a beautiful surrounding right on the traject of the route I had in mind. However, I still need to check if they got a secure garage to park the cars when I'm in the neighbourhood next time. http://www.edenaulac.lu/

Of course, if this one doesn't qualify; I know a lot more exellent places to stay over there!

Great! Let's see how people react to it! :)
If positive we can develop further...

The Luxemburg stage would certainly cover the area of Müllerthal (also known as "Little Switzerland!" and pass through Vianden and Echternach...
