Anybody here personally have or know of someone who has had a bad experience with a car of theirs? Thanks in advance
Sounds like you're ultimately seeking an opinion about the dealership in general. Their reputation is as strong as the man who started it, which has been credible for decades. A friend brought in a trade-in for an exotic and I helped him through it. Nothing but a pleasant deal... Edit: To answer your question, no.
TGOOD..... Good to hear. Google has 3 reviews and they are all bad. Ebay has good reviews but they are 6 months old and not a lot of expensive cars. The part that got me worried the most is that they seem to have moved several times. I do however see that they have been involved with a lot of local events. I am purchasing a car as we speak from them. Thanks
Looks like they are going to stand behind the car. So far, so good with Eurocar. Hopefully, I'll have a very positive update soon.
Just got back from Eurocar. The guys there were terrific. Tilo, the owner, came over and told me the history and offered to replace or fix anything wrong with the car. Newport Rolls gave it a clean bill of health. And the phantom was just as described...Perfect! Thanks to J for helping me out. I owe him a beer.
i test drove aq few cars , but did not buy no hassles, or phone stalking -- have known them for 10 years solid team people
I got a white 06 Gallardo. Fun car- especially since it's a 6 speed. The problem is, the AC isn't working. A lot of stuff they told me prior to purchase was to let me know that the car was a "perfect car". I'm also having some clutch issues. When I was purchasing the car, they told me that it had "65%" clutch wear only to find out later that they had no way of knowing the clutch wear without taking it apart (since it's 6 speed). The car had only 3700 miles on it when I bought it. Eurocar keeps saying "they'll make it right" but they do very little follow up and have just held onto my car and then told me "AC works!" when I already had another mechanic check it out who told me why it's not always working. In any case, you just have to do you due diligence just like anywhere else and just like anywhere else, after they have your money, any urgency on their part is non-existent.
Sorry to hear the issues still have not been resolved. Richard told me before I left that they were going to take care of you. Yeah you are correct about doing due diligence before purchasing. I feel so much better after having Newport Rolls give it a look over. Keep me posted as to the final outcome. Sucks you can't enjoy a new car you payed for.
