Thank you!
Another new one. Looks nice. 55363. https://rmsothebys.com/en/auctions/AF18/Auburn-Fall/lots/r0249-1985-ferrari-308-gts-qv/697476
This is an interesting decal...I've never seen one before. Were this fitted to just certain (Swiss?) cars? I tried Googling the Ferrari # (120382) and came up with nothing. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Not mine, but just received an new listing from Gullwing... https://www.gullwingmotorcars.com/1985-ferrari-308gts-c-3618.htm Image Unavailable, Please Login
This is a decal for F105AH (mondial, GTB, GTS) for the Swiss market. This country had a very different engine from the Euro standard (warm-up, air admission, crankcase, gearbox, manifold, exhaust...) So it is quite rare to see one in a good shape.
I also have a Swiss car with the same decal. Didn’t realize there was anything unique about it. Also didn’t know about the engine differences. Any particular reason for those differences? Did it affect performance or anything else of that nature? Image Unavailable, Please Login
Thank you for the answer. I had a feeling it was Swiss-specific as I'd never seen one. To answer the other question (Why Swiss?), I know the Swiss market has very stringent emissions & and sound requirements, very possibly for these reasons.
My euro (German) 308, SN 48345, will be up for sale soon. Working to get all the documentation, tools, manuals, etc. together for pictures.
Will you put it in the classifieds here? I’m looking for one and the deal I was working on just fell through.
Yes. I’m working to compile the (rather large) list of everything I have for the car, take pictures, and complete the write-up. I sent you PM with info and some pictures. Cheers, Greg
Mine is now listed for sale...many tears to come https://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/threads/1984-euro-german-308-qv.586530/
Man, that Euro has one ugly front valance. If taking the time to repaint it body color ( like it’s meant to be )was such an inconvenience makes me wonder about general upkeep and service.
Rough one for sale (cheap) at Beverly Hills Motor Club. This car makes 170 in our informal registry. 53433 https://www.ebay.com/itm/1985-Ferrari-308/223239022068?hash=item33fa1525f4:g:btkAAOSw~T9b8w19:rk:22f:0&vxp=mtr

Thanks never knew that. Surprised that it is still there after all these years. I totally agree with you about the euro qv’s. First 308 I ever drove was an 83 euro and it was surprisingly quick. I remember driving a 993 a day or so before and feeling that the 308 was quicker by seat of the pants feel anyways.
Not even on the 16in wheel but TRX as well. Thomas, this one just popped up: https://www.ebay.com/itm/1984-Ferrari-308-/264061325239
