    I think it would be neat for us to share our favorite espresso beans, I like trying new thinks and actually picked up a fresh pound of beans today while in Tampa.

    Right now here's my list:

    1. Intelligentsia Black Cat. Great espresso, always comes out perfect or near perfect and they sell it reasonably at Fresh Market. I usually drink this without milk since it's so good.

    2. Danesi Gold Quality. My everyday drink. I get it at a commercial coffee service nearby. Smooth and consistent.

    3. Caracolillo Coffee Mill Espresso. Available fresh right out of the roaster in Tampa, FL. A bit oily but goes great in milk drinks. Very reasonable but must be used within a week or it gets seedy.

    The beans I got today were from El Molino in Ybor City. I haven't tried them yet but the place smelled divine. If you've never been to a coffee roastery, go.

    Buy the best coffee beans that you can and roast your own. That's what I used to do and it was always waaaay better than any roasted beans I bought.

    Not a big coffee guy anymore though. Been out of the "game" for a few years.

    You can't go wrong with any of them but I like:

    Roman
    Hayes Valley
    Retrofit

    in that order.

    MMMMmmmmmmmmmm!
