Yo Randy, I took the supply line off the pump. The inside looks pretty good, and the quick connect fitting is in good shape. It's yours if you want it.......for FREE!!! Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Hi Ernie, you are real cool in my book. i had a member send me a plastic fitting i needed for the top of my master cylinder once and I really appreciated that.

I have no breather tubes. How critical are these? Have they fallen somewhere (into the gas tank) when the rubber fuel pump gasket deteriorated? They are nowhere to be seen. Forgotten? Earlier work on the fuel pumps and they forgot to replace them. Did they stop using them? Did they start using them after my 1990 T?
All is now assembled and looks and feels right. I have ordered new 6mm stainless lock nuts and await their arrival.
I had an episode of nasty vertigo and was in the hospital for four days and am having a tough time recuperating at home with physical therapy. I am dizzy all the time (my 93 yo aunt asked me what was so new?). Need to retrain my brain and that is hard to do at my age. Its getting better but very slowly. I plan to resume work tomorrow. I am removing the injectors for rebuilding as Dave Helms has suggested. I am trying to follow his suggestions to the tee. The fuel pumps are back in and I just am struggling with the removal of the injector distributor bars without removing the fuel pressure regulators. Thanks for your concern; i appreciate it. I will get back to you as soon as there is progress.
Just started the T and it's purring like a kitten on all 8. No leaks either vacuum or fuel. Need to take it for a shake-down before I try to drive to Mondipalooza. Great feeling.
Hi Porphy, I've just read you're entire thread and found it so amazing how you spent so much time and energy in trying to solve the issues which you finally did with the help of all the good people here on F Chat. They are an amazing bunch! I hope you recovered well and in good health now and ready to enjoy your Mondial once again. All the best. Peter Cheers.
+1 Remember --- All of our heads are harder than any known material which has ever left the gates of Maranello !!!!
The F-chat brotherhood is great. I could not have done it without them. Helms infinite patience with me; Ernie's stooge approach and his generosity with parts; 3forty8 eric and his parts and help, and all the other guys that encouraged me during this prolonged episode. I must admit I enjoyed it due to the support from the brotherhood and even though I was not driving. Thanks again too all and keep the F-chat going. See some of you, hopefully, at Mondipalooza (still have shakedown to do).
Vertigo is certainly disabling, glad to hear that yours is better. Mine comes and goes so I've had to give up motorcycling as a result. Plenty of risky business/adventure in the past... no sense continuing with this one. Great news on the Mondial
Thank much. My vertigo is much better. I do have funny feelings when I move in odd directions fast (acting like an idiot or playing with the nephews) but other than that I seem OK for the moment. I hope it stays better.
My Wife has vertigo issues but it seems to have calmed down. I am happy you and your car are all better.
