    Its growing although it seems at an extremely slow rate. Rough estimate on the number of Ferraris in Poland is.. a few, perhaps in -teens. There are no dealers AFAIK (I'd love to open up the first! :D). It might be better in Warsaw, the capital, but apart from there (which is where I spend 99,99% of my time) its hard to spot an Fcar - I consider myself lucky if I spot 1 during a year :(

    No Ferrari dealers in Poland I'm afraid. A friend has a Mondial. My rock star neighbour's friend a 360 Spider. We have a famous black Enzo in south Warsaw owned by a car crazy owner of the Polish Adobe software importer. Made the news by being caught in a speedtrap on a bridge in Warsaw doing 210. Guy also has a Merc SLR and a bunch of lesser cars like Cayennes, SL's etc. Didn't realise software reselling was so profitable. There's also a beautiful 330 GTC, a slightly tired 308 and at least 2 or 3 348's in Warsaw.

    That sounds like there is some Ferrari-community in Poland! Would be great if all of you get together and visit a few of the Ferrari days in Western Europe! Nuerburgring, Hockenheim, Francorchamps, Silverstone,... it's all very exciting! But you probably knew that!

    There is a regular event that brings a lot of Ferrari's and other supercars to a race track in western Poland (Poznan) - GT Polonia. It's 3 days of training with former rally and race drivers on a newly surfaced racing circuit.

    The organisers have already contacted me about participating this year but it conflicts with the Tuscany trip:

    Have a look - maybe somebody will be interested. I know it's good fun.

    Hello Przemek!

    That really looks very promising! Maybe we should all go that Polish meeting!
    I remember only 1 thing in Polish: "Ferrari, kocham cie!!!!"
    All the best with your superb 328!

    PLEASE DO!! It takes place exactly where I study. Here's a link to my pics from last year's GT Polonia (I drove over 300km during the night when I found out about it - just to see the cars, not even being allowed on the track);

    A polish guy (fchat member - although not very active) is in quite close contact with the organisers, I know he did photos etc for them last year. We were actually planning to promote it heavily on fchat, he even contacted admins AFAIK. If you need more info I'd gladly get in contact with him or the organisers.

    PS Przemek - sorry for the off topic hijacking of your thread a bit :(

    No ładnie. Po prawie czterech latach go odgrzałeś. Fajne zdjęcia, fajne posty, jeszcze przed-Schengenowe, pamiętam jak tłusty niemiecki grenzschutz miał gulę i wszystkie papiery auta 10 razy oglądał i obmacywał :)))

    Kurde.. cztery lata. Nie chce ktoś 328 w stanie jak nowa, serwisowana w ASO? :)

    Hi Przemek,

    Awesome story. Found this great thread by accident. Thanks for sharing. BTW I remember looking at the guard towers on the Polish/Czech border back in the early seventies. What a different feeling it must be now, for the better of course. Ah yes, I remember Plona Gury - Plona Lasy. :)

    Ciao,
    George
