I believe he was referring to bulk shipping. Individual subscriptions are probably handled in a different channel, but not sure.

Yes, I think my subscription magazines are mailed individually from the uk or the continent.

The bookstores have now been open for several weeks but have yet to receive a single European magazine of any kind.

I read somewhere that Autocar may not survive the lockdown.

I have subscribed to at least six different automobile magazines all coming from USA but have not received a single issue since March 2020. I am in Switzerland.

Since buying my car last Summer, I have been purchasing Ferrari magazines like crazy.
Enzo has been a fun one to read and I have always had luck finding them at my local Barnes and Nobel.
The last one I found before the lockdown was issue #10 and I knew #11 was right around the corner.
Low and behold our store opened up and I went in to see what they had and there was #11 (6 total copies).
I was very happy to get one and am looking forward to #12 next.

If anybody can't find one in their area I would be happy to send one to them as long as they are still on the shelf.
Cost would be only my out of pocket expenses...

    Best wishes,
    Gene Greer

I went to the website and found a lot of interesting items.
Spending hours there would be no problem at all.
Buying over the internet isn't quite the same as being there in person.....
Perhaps a road trip to Michigan is in order.....
I am sure my wife will understand.;)

Thanks for the kind offer John.
This kind of gesture is what makes being a member of this forum so special.
I am 2350 miles away in Washington state so getting there might take some planning. Not out of the question, just a little bit of thought.
Along with getting things home, not out of the question just a bit of fore thought.

With C&C on Saturday morning, what could be better?

The wheels in my brain are turning though....:D

    Best wishes,

Enzo #11 was due in Canada when everything shut down. Months later Steve sent me a copy of #11. Enzo #12 I had to get from the Loch Lomond in the UK as it never showed up in Canada. Very lucky to as #12 was sold out there but one copy had been held back so success after all. Still waiting for #12 to arrive as it has not come across the pond yet though.
The mail is terrible these days with letters taking a month or more to arrive from the UK.

    The mess continues.

Perhaps the problem lies with Swiss mail/postal service or other government agency/authorities there ?

Over the past few months I’ve spoken with several colleagues & friends in other parts of Europe and one of the topics has been international/intercontinental mailing/shipping. Other than slightly extended delays, no one seems to have had problems with their incoming or outgoing shipments, including magazine subscriptions from U.S. to EU, though I don’t think any are for “Enzo”.

Do you know if other Swiss subscribers of any of same six U.S. based magazines have received theirs ?

The problem is that virtually no regular flights currently fly from USA to Europe and Switzerland. On normal flights regular mail and magazines are usually tranported in the belly of the aircraft. No flights = no mail.
As for Enzo magazine which supposedly is shipped from the UK (?) I really have no idea what these guys are doing.

Does anyone have an idea of how to order a single issue of Enzo? Since the U.S. bookstores are still not getting U.K. magazines, I am ordering them online. But unlike other U.K. publishers (Key Publishing, for example), the Enzo website shows no way to order a single copy. I have no intention of subscribing (especially after following this thread from the start!) and I expect that eventually the U.K. magazines will reappear here, but probably too late to get #12.

The Enzo guys don't want to be reached, they do not reply, they are probably all asleep.
It's such a shame. Words don't describe the mess.
Suggest eBay. Probably easiest. Although really tragic.
    Still waiting for #12.

Thanks, Marcel, I went ahead and did just that. What's "tragic" is paying more than for the shipping than for the magazine, although I rather expected that. With luck it will arrive by the end of the month.
