Hello, I just finished watching the DVD "Enzo Ferrari" (dvd release 2005), the dramatization of the life of Enzo Ferrari. Several scenes in the movie show Enzo Ferrari driving his 365 GT/4 2+2 (including a sequence of driving at the track with nice interior & exterior views). Can anyone tell me if this movie is historically correct as far as exterior & interior colors of Enzo Ferrari's 365 GT/4 2+2? I've searched past posts but can't seem to find this information. While I am asking, can anyone tell me the serial number for Enzo Ferrari's 365 GT/4 2+2 & does anyone know its current status? Thanks, Michael Payne
Hi, here is a photograph of Enzo driving a 365 gt/4 2+2 , I saved do not know if copyright and were it came from but to me its a great picture Image Unavailable, Please Login
I thought I read somewhere--I don't recall where--that Enzo's 365 gt4 was still with "the family," maybe his son? If that's the case, question the likelihood of it ever coming to market. Looks like Brett can keep his arm...for now!
i seem to recall it was a pale green ish - with tan interior , selling recently at 120k soemwhere a few yrs back .... but it was the mother queen car ferrari 60s 365gt 2+2
The 365GT4 2+2 of Enzo has been one of my objectives until last week when I found where is the car of the Film Enzo. Unfortunetaly I haven't watched this film yet but a friend will give it to me next week. Another friend told me there were special thanks at the end of the film dedicated to the owner of the car. He thinks remembering it was Piero Ferrari. I don't think so. Even if we told on our website (f400club.com) that the car of the film may be the exact car of Enzo, I'm still in doubt. I've no interest to keep this information for me so here is what I know for the moment. The Azzuro/Tan car of the film is #17261. It's in the collection of Fabrizio Violati, recently dead. My english is really bad so I let you discover at this address the story and a photo appearing in the gallery page 3. http://www.barchetta.cc/All.Ferraris/events-stories/events/2010/museum/maranello-rosso/73-108/index.html Cinevillage, what do you mean by 'I'm going to buy it" ?
Moreover, Who can proove Enzo owned a GT4 ? Maybe he was photographied in a client-car ? Or in several differents cars ? Who can say ? Can we deduce of the film he owned one ? Many questions..
There were definitely cars produced for his use in the early days. I suspect, though, that he viewed them all as "his" cars, and probably drove whatever was parked in front...
That's one of the minor attractions of having a 1983 model: the thought that he "could" have sat in my car!
I do NOT have proofs but I have read a lot of times that the 250 GTE/330/365 GT 2+2/365 GT4 2+2 "family" has been the daily driver choice for Enzo Ferrari. He liked to have the possibility to take his dog(s ?) for a ride in F-car. True story ! Today, you will notice that Piero Ferrari (his son) drives a 612 Scaglietti (and will certainly drive a FF in a few months).
