This site is aimed at people who are passionate about Ferraris. That those who have for the most part only seen the FF in photo and do not like it's styling, say so is one thing. However, this constant and never ending chain of stupidity spoils it for those of us who admire Ferrari's innovation and how they see the future. It was also that very principle that Enzo Ferrari lived by and hence built such automotive excellence. So, if you don't like the FF, that is your right but please allow those of us who have a more open mind to enjoy discussing it. Finally, history shows that when Ferrari create a car that raises this many eyebrows it inevitably becomes an icon.... May the naysayers turn their attention to something else. Thank you!
OMG you FF guys have it easy compared to what went on with the California intro. Not only did they bash the looks forever, but the cupholders, that is was a girls car, that it was gay, that it was a Maserati, that it was a 2 + 2, that the hood scoop wasn't functional (it is), that it would depreciate instantly (and it hasn't), and on and on. Anytime someone wanted to get an intelligent conversation going, some wise mouth started with "it's just a rebadged Maserati" once again. Don't you know...this is Fchat: where people who never buy the cars tell other people why they should not buy the cars.

+1000% Its been a problem for ages now, and at least imo, seems to be getting worse. Most are even qualified to be a 'poser', as they've never driven in any modern ferrari, much less owned one-- We've been dealing with it on the 599 site over the GTO for a year. The Cali guys dealt still have to deal with it. Best of luck on how to put a stop to the insanity of the clueless .
Well said. This forum has become a breeding ground for clueless posers hiding behind the keyboard, talking out of their arse.
Agreed. I am tired of the haters. http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showpost.php?p=140377334&postcount=64
It was fun to discuss the FF ... I will try to be a better Ferrari owner - what was I thinking! Questioning a design from Pininfarina who is entering bankruptcy and can no longer afford designers. This is the first Ferrari I can recall looking at ... and thinking - why!
I have always wanted a new Ferrari. The 2+2 fits my lifestyle and to be honest it's more disappointment that I have to wait another 5 years. 660 Hp even if they fib and it's 630 hp it's still a lot of meatballs! Ferrari if you are listening Make steel brakes optional Make the AWD optional Make the bubble butt go away and most of all ... lower the price of your options! It's not a matter of affording the options - it's offensive.
This thread is more ridiculous than what it is complaining about. Lets be real here... FChat has 87,000 members and you guys act like you are surprised that owners are in the minority ? This isnt the Ferrari owners forum... its a Ferrari forum in general. Non-owners have just as much right to post their opinions as anyone else. I owned a Ferrari for several years. I sold it. Does that mean i shouldnt be allowed to post here anymore ? I should have to drop all the good people I enjoy associating with on this forum because I dont own one anymore ? Come on everyone... lets not be elitists. PS I really like the FF but I dont begrudge anyone a differing opinion. Now if they are just trolling and not actually providing insight as to why they dont like a car...well then yeah they are jerks. But just because they dont like one doesnt mean they should be able to speak their mind.
I don't think anyone else who's posted in this thread agreeing with Chalstrad feels any different than you about hearing opinions. I think the point is how the views are expressed. Are they freely offered opinions or fact blanketed over all, and many times in an insulting way to people who don't share the hate.
We got at least one troll banned for a period and told never to show up in the California forum again. And he claimed to be a Ferrari owner. Cariad- Great shots of your wife and that familiar looking guy. She certainly looks at home in it. See you this summer. Taz Terry Phillips
Honestly if you own a Ferrari or Lambo Viper Vette Malibu Camaro You really don't care what others think and if you do ... you shouldn't. Car guys love cars ... there isn't a car out there I would mind driving. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. My wife loves her Expedition EL she could drive any car on earth ... but she won't she loves her Ford! Son drives my mother n laws 2001 S500 and my daughter drives a jeep. I gave my son my RR 3 weeks ago and now drive his S500 and love it. Daughter has a wrangler jeep and won't share I have a Healey / 69 Camaro and a 9 ft chopper ... and spend hours a day on here - I have issues
I wasn't referring to you. Never read your posts. But at this point it's just best to plug my nose and pretend your self deluded foppishness you display isn't as gag inducing as it is, you know, just so I don't hurt your more keenly honed sensibilities.
That's not what I'm saying at all. My point is that people who don't like this type of car (irregardless of it's looks) and would never buy the FF or California are the MOST VOCAL in their displeasure of them. TIME AFTER TIME. Then, they intensionally create threads to stir up others to join on the bandwagon. Those who want to discuss the car's merits or drawbacks are constantly peppered by those who just want to make themselves feel superior to everyone else because they feel they are smarter or more enlightened than those who feel differently. I've said this before: You can have an intelligent negative conversation without upsetting other owners or potential owners. I wish more people on Fchat understood that. It would make it a much more pleasant place.
I agree. I am getting crucified in this forum or snapping at a poster who was rude to someone who thought it was cool that the FF was in a helicopter. http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=316623&page=5
