    I am very interested as well.....I have the same problem until the engine warms up....I've left it as it's isn't much of a problem. I usually dont drive off until the engine warms up. (I have a 86 Testarossa (UK Version, no cats).

    Hi there,

    Car seems better at the moment, although still a bit annoying for a few reasons. The thing is that I am decided to change the battery (don't even know how old it is, but has definitely seen better days...)

    The question is which batter would you recommend me?

    I have read about the Bosch s5 008 but I have also read very good reviews about the Halfords calcium batteries (more expensive than the Bosch, in fact)...any of you have got any idea about them? Is the HCB096 the model I'd need?

    I'd recommend a cheap battery, reason being that most of these cars are relatively seldom used and the cheaper battery is perhaps a little more likely to fail within its warranty period resulting in a free replacement!
