    Hi

almost ready to drop the engine on the cradle for the major on my '87. Questions:

    1) Top and bottom cooling rubber hoses can stay in place and they just slip off once the chassis is raised as long as the clamps are loose?

    2) No way can loose the 13 mm bolt on the aircon belt tensioner pin (have no idea why the hell it way tightened this way). Have loosen the 19 mm bolt but without loosing the 13 mm no way can get the belt off. Suppose can loose this nut once the engine is on the cradle and when removing the entirte aircon compressor ?

Many tks for any help on the above
    Gianni

1- correct... but ez to cut top hose
2- bleed of the freon, disconnect the hose, pull engine with compressor mounted on the engine

    Ciao Vincenzo

Tks yrs. Hoses are Scuderia Rampante's and quite stiff, hence the difficulties in take them off. As to bleed the freon off...do not have proper equipment to do that, that's why wanted to take engine out and leave aircon compressor in the car.
