I've dealt with them once and had a good experience. Haven't heard anything negative about them.

 

I second this. Just moved in the other direction, NJ to FL, and they handled transport of my two cars flawlessly. Not the cheapest, but was worth peace of mind to me.

 

Exotic has carted my cars all over the U.S. They have had two on the road at the same time more than once. I've never had a problem with them. Quite the opposite. The office staff are nice and easy to deal with, the drivers are great, they always let me know where they are, and my cars always arrive in the same condition they left (wheel scars and all!) Their prices also are usually the best. A couple of weeks ago I needed transport at the last minute and had a problem finding an available truck. I have a list that I got from people here and elsewhere, if you can't find someone. A dealer friend recommended Alpine. They also were reliable and reasonable.

 

What is the rate ?

 

If it is a regular car, you could also try driving to Va and taking the Autotrain to Sanford. It takes about 24 hours since they make a lot of stops, but it might be quicker if you need to get the car down here right away. Dont know if I would trust them with an exotic.

 

I've used Horseless Carriage, and they do a great job. I think they give a discount for F-chat members and/or FCA members.

You might also contact Classic Coach in Elizabeth, NJ. They run trucks back and forth to Florida all the time. Right now they are moving cars south for the winter. They might be happy to have a car to take up north on a return trip right now. Worth asking.

 

Have used three different companies to transport Ferraris over past five years. Horseless Carriage was by far the best. Kept me updated throughout, handled car perfectly. I will never use anyone else.

 

Just used Exotic Car Transport (Jan) out of Orlando again. They did an excellent job at a very fair price. Would definitely recommend them.

 

I used Exotic Car Transport twice this season and they were fantastic. Prior to reading this thread I had contacted one of the other firms recommended but my schedule was very tight and they could not accommodate my dates.

Exotic met my dates and both the delivery to and from PA was flawless. I would certainly recommend them to anyone.

 

Glad to see someone has had a good experience with Exotic. Of all the companies I have used (almost a dozen) they gave by far the worst service. I will never recommend them to anyone. Based on my own experiences I would rate Intercity and HC as the best I have used.
