    Hi all

I recently picked up a 2015 Cali T and will post some photos as soon as I can take some good ones but just have a quick question for now:

The car has the full electric seat option and I was expecting the seat to creep forward if I released the seat back (incline) to access the back seats. Not a big deal but I’ll be putting my dog in the back from time to time so would be quite a convenient feature.

    Thanks

Congrats on the new California T. I can't help with your specific question, but my 458 has the full electric seats so I have three seat memory positions. I have one set for getting in the car, one set for driving the car, and one set for accessing the rear shelf area. Possibly a solution for you if the seat doesn't auto move forward. My Maserati Gran Turismo Convertible has the exact feature you describe and agree that it is very convenient.

Thank, Rob. Great idea. I’ll be sure to programme a dog setting as a back up.

It should do so automatically — try the other seat. It stopped working on one side of my car.

It stopped working on the passenger side of my 17 Cali T when I have just taking back it after the annual service at the dealer (was ok for both seats before service).
Dealer told me it was just a software issue, need to be reloaded, and it's working fine on passenger seat too as before.
Both seats have to work like this, and it's not 100% hardware issue.

Interesting. Hopefully it’s just a software issue then. How long did your dealer need your car to perform the update?

Still haven’t managed to fix this so got in touch with a dealer and they responded with:

‘There is a process to follow for the seat reprogramming.

Close the doors until the interior light goes out.

Open the door and move the seat base adjust a second in each direction twice so the seat just starts to move each time. Do it forward, back, forward, back and then tilt the back of the seat forward. (You may need to hold the seat forward if it falls back down)

It will then follow a cycle, when completed put the back of the seat back in the upright position and it should then function correctly on the next use.’

I had a go today but couldn’t get it to work. Will try harder tomorrow…
