1989 Ferrari Testarossa Coupe for sale | Hemmings Motor News Now that was a steal at $115,000.00 How long ago?
The driver's seat looks like a really heavy guy has been sitting in it for a long time. Or is it just the way black shows?
Good pics of the OEM finish on the air dam. The side bolsters look right for 4K. To my eyes, 4K miles is believable. Rgds, Vincenzo
+1 44,000 miles maybe... "Edward Regan Murphy" should be on documents....I wonder if this is a "Jon Voight" scenario...
I would believe it to be a 4,000 mile car. My old TR had a black interior and 11,000 miles. It looked fairly similar regarding the interior. The pristine lower spoiler and immaculate engine bay are also representative of a low mile car.
So one dealer sold it to another dealer who marked up the price? Let me guess, another dealer will buy it from that dealer and mark up the price.
I checked this car out in person. In my opinion it looked very rough and appeared to have been sprayed in a few sections. I was not impressed with the condition of the vehicle at all. My cousin was looking to buy a TR and he asked me to go with him to check the car out. Needless to say he was also less than impressed. I was told the car only had one maintenance record from 1990 I believe. It made me appreciate the condition of my Testarossa.
Look closely at the top edge of the bumper - there is a highlight just below the bumper's upper curve. I assume that the highlight is reflecting off the top edge of a 3M type clear bra. If so, the orange peel is typical for a bra. I have never seen the 'somewhat textured' OEM finish replicated on an air dam. As such, I doubt very much if the front end was repainted. But then again - pictures do not compare to an in person inspection....... Just my 2 cents YMMV Vincenzo
Bottom line with this car is... A clean title and 4,000 miles....a worthy purchase.. Providing car fax is clean..all the other crap can be corrected! someone here shoulda bought it at 115
I used to chug beers to that song religiously in college! It is a fun song nonetheless! And yes, it is back with a markup, as I knew it would. I'm suprised they're not asking more. Car must really be a mess LOL. But hey if it's a museum car, then just have it resprayed and do nothing mechanically. And I'll leave you with this here! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n0w099fw4lw
Lol, yeah hard to believe those True Hollywood Stories themselves were done like 10 years ago too! Have you seen the one where they hang out with Prince? That's funny too.
