    Hey guys, I am selling my spare 998RS race motor. It is virtually the same as what EBoz won with at PPIR last weekend. It has about 80km on since the last rebuild. It would cost about $75-85k to create. I'll sell it for about $8500. It's a fantastic way to go if you race a Ducati.

    It would be fun to slip that into a 749 Dark and go to a few track days. The guys on their R1's and ZX-10's wouldn't know what to do when that little duck passes them down the straight.

    not really interested in purchasing but im curious how much power such an engine would put out? where it redlines etc

    Redline is 13.5k and the power is around 180hp.

    ryan,send an e-mail ducatierv. ervin is a friend of mine and would likely be interested in it for a decent price. it is the real thing and as i had mentioned to you, he has two v&h bikes that he tracks.

    that is a serious motor that few can even get close to exploiting!!!
